Deadline calculator

Three regimes, three different ways of counting. This works out your deadline in working days, skipping weekends and England and Wales bank holidays.

Which regime applies?

If you're not sure, the subject matter decides it. NHS healthcare services fall under the Provider Selection Regime. Social care usually falls under the light touch regime. Everything else is the standard regime.

Which award process was used?

Representations are only available under three of the five. If you can't tell from the notice, pick "not sure".

Date the notice of intention to award was published
Date you first knew something was wrong (optional)

Used for the separate 30-day limitation period. Often the date the assessment summary or outcome letter arrived, but it can be earlier.

This is an indication, not advice. It applies the counting conventions as I understand them and covers England and Wales bank holidays only. Notices can state longer periods than the statutory minimum, dates of knowledge are frequently arguable, and getting any of this wrong is unrecoverable. Check your own notice and take advice before relying on a date.
